everskill’s digital coach Emma supporting leading-edge Executive Education in TU Munich’s EMBA- and Customized-Programs
The Excecutive MBA is the flagship of TU Munich’s School of Management and its Executive Education Center (EEC). The program ranks among the 30 best EMBA programs in Europe. Participants of the EMBA do not only benefit from the innovative setup, but also from the integration of new learning formats as well as the latest research carried out at TU Munich.
Having the aspiration to be leading-edge in the field of learning innovation, the TUM School of Management Executive Education Center chose partnering with everskill to support their participants in developing their leadership skills during the EMBA by merging everskills outstanding digital coaching solution with our evidence-based research insights and training approach in leadership development.
“Our avatar Emma stands for the importance of personal interaction and dialogue in our leadership trainings. This enables us to support the participants in developing their individual leadership potential.” says Dr. Ellen Schmid, Leadership Expert at TUM School of Management.
Based on their experience, the trainers of the EMBA’s leadership module and experts from everskill jointly developed learning goals and tailormade content for the program. During the contracting phase of the class room session, the participants set individual action plans based on these learning goals. Emma then supported and motivated the participants in the months after the module to work on their goals and provided additional content.
Thomas Münch, Senior Manager Digital Innovations & Leadership at TUM EEC: “A question which has been occupying us for a long time was ‘How can we make sure, that our EMBA participants do not only receive the best education, but also support in applying what they learned in daily business in their companies?’ - With Emma, the digital coach by everskill, we are now closing this gap and support our EMBA participants to become a better leader in their daily business life.”
The user rates and participant feedback underscore the difference Emma made in their everyday life.
It reaches from “with the help of the goals in the app I recognized the connection to my everyday work" to "I am working on my goals much more consciously with Emma"
The EMBA’s participants are enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with Emma, and so are the trainers. Senior Researcher and Trainer Dr. Kristin Knipfer emphasizes the value add of Emma: “I found that leaders are faced with the challenge of putting the training content into practice. That’s why I am so enthusiastic about the opportunity to […] help them implement the leadership techniques they have learned in their daily leadership routine.”
TUM School of Management Executive Education Center and everskill plan to further develop Emma’s skills as digital coach in order to serve the needs of all lifelong learners and participants of TUM EEC’s degree- and customized-programs in their personal development and their journey to become their own ideal leader.
